Legba - Vodum der Straßen und Kreuzungen, entspricht bei den Gege/Nago: Exu
/ Eshu;
wird Satan, Krieg, Christus oder einem Engel gleichgesetzt; wird in der Casa
das Minas nicht geschätzt und dem Bösen gleichgesetzt, Deni Prata Jardim identifiziert ihn umfassend mit den Problemen des
afrikanischen Kontinents; eine Entsprechung existiert auch in Haiti und Miami
(vgl. Xango 141, Petersilie 387, Explosion 701, Mina 79, 173ff., 358, 363);
"Elegba ou Legba: Correspondant dahoméen de Eshou." (Bastide 1969 565); "Legba -
correspondente daomeano de Exu." (Bastide 1978 287); in
Porto Alegre: "As in Africa itself, Eshu, Elebara, or Leba,
the divine trickster, is held by writers on the subject to be correlated with
the Cristian Devil, and northern Afro-Brazilians, like Africains, give this
identification unless the matter is probed further." (Herskovits III 208); "Divindade
considerada trapaceira, ou trikster,
entre os jejes. Na Casa das Minas é considerado como o Demônio, não sendo
